setsebi The register of training practitioners

The network behind it

Setsebi did not start from an empty database. It opens onto an audience that was already assembled - and unusually, an audience that contains both sides of this market at once.

Why that matters here specifically

Most marketplaces have to solve two cold-start problems in sequence: find the supply, then find the demand. Setsebi starts with both. The readership is made of business owners, executives and senior professionals - who are the buyers of training. The contributors, columnists and specialists who fill those pages are the sellers of it.

No new market had to be found. A market that already existed had to be connected to itself.

Sibling platforms

Setsebi sits inside a group of platforms built on the same audience and the same pattern - an introduction made by a person, on a register that anyone can read. Musika for B2B sourcing across the corridor, Mwambo for business gatherings, Shofe for haulage loads, Ndarama and Chinyama for minerals and livestock, Kukweva for coffee rooms and fine dining.

They cross-refer. A supplier listed on one is a company with staff on this one.
