Team building and culture
Facilitated team, communication and culture work - on site, off site, or out on a camp - for whole teams rather than individuals.
Bought at these levels
L7 Whole teamWhat we list, and what we do not
Facilitated work with a whole team: communication under pressure, trust, conflict, culture and values, ethics, safety culture, and the strategy cascade that takes a decision made in a boardroom and lands it with the people who have to execute it. Camps and outdoor programmes are in, and so are on-site sessions for operations that cannot release everybody to a lodge for two days.
Not an outing with no facilitation and no debrief. The debrief is the difference between team building and a weekend away, and every provider listed here runs one.
What companies ask for
Teams that communicate under pressure
Resetting a department after a bad year
Culture work that survives the bus home
Three situations this gets bought for
- The team that has stopped talking
Usually after a restructure, a merger, or a departure that went badly. This is the difficult version of the work and not every provider does it. Say so in the brief and we will only send you people who do. - The team that is fine and getting stale
The annual reset. Communication, trust, and a couple of days out of the building. The commonest request, the easiest to fill, and the one most often bought badly. - The strategy cascade
A board or executive has decided something and the organisation has not moved. Half facilitation, half team work, and it is worth pairing the provider with someone from the strategy discipline.
